2026 APEX & Productronica Press Release

Heller Industries Concludes Highly Successful 2026 APEX and Productronica Shanghai Exhibitions

Florham Park, NJ — April 2026 — Heller Industries, a global leader in advanced thermal processing solutions, announced the successful conclusion of its participation in two of the industry’s most influential events of the year: the 2026 APEX Expo and Productronica Shanghai. Across both shows, Heller drew strong interest from manufacturers, partners, and industry leaders, reinforcing its position at the forefront of reflow, vacuum, and pressure curing technologies.

At the center of attention at both exhibitions were Heller’s short cycle vacuum reflow oven and its pressure curing oven, designed to meet the increasingly demanding requirements of advanced packaging, automotive, power electronics, and AI-related manufacturing.

During Productronica Shanghai 2026, Heller’s short cycle vacuum reflow oven was awarded the Most Popular New Product Award for the second consecutive year. The recognition reflects strong market validation of the system’s ability to significantly shorten process cycle times while maintaining consistently low void rates—an increasingly critical requirement for advanced and high-reliability applications.

“This award confirms what we’re hearing directly from customers around the world,” said Paul Lancaster, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Heller Industries. “Manufacturers are no longer willing to compromise between throughput and quality. Our short cycle vacuum reflow technology delivers both, enabling customers to push performance boundaries without sacrificing reliability.”

In addition to strong product interest, Heller’s leadership team played a prominent role in industry discussions throughout both events. At the APEX Expo, Heller Industries’s CEO David Heller was invited to participate in a panel discussion hosted by GlobalSMT, alongside industry partners. The session focused on debunking common myths surrounding void formation in reflow processes and highlighted practical, data- driven solutions to counter voiding challenges in modern electronics manufacturing.

David Heller was also featured in an interview with EMSNow, where he shared Heller’s long-standing philosophy of “saying yes to customers.” This customer-first mindset has enabled Heller to deliver highly customized thermal solutions and consistently work at the leading edge of process innovation.

“Our strategy has always been rooted in partnership,” David Heller said. “By saying yes to our customers’ challenges, we’re able to co-develop solutions that don’t just meet today’s needs but anticipate the future of thermal processing.”

At Productronica Shanghai, Paul Lancaster was invited by Step-by-Step Technology Magazine to discuss Heller’s competitive advantages in advanced packaging solutions and the company’s leadership in AI-related manufacturing applications. The discussion highlighted Heller’s continued investment in process control, vacuum technology, and pressure-assisted curing—capabilities that are increasingly critical for next-generation semiconductor packaging and high-performance electronics.

Both exhibitions generated significant booth traffic and engagement, with strong interest from OEMs, EMS providers, and technology partners from across the global electronics ecosystem. Heller reported numerous high-quality technical discussions centered on yield improvement, void reduction, throughput optimization, and future-ready thermal solutions.

“We were thrilled by the level of engagement at both APEX and Productronica Shanghai,” Lancaster added. “Equally important was the opportunity to reconnect in person with our customers and industry partners. Those conversations are invaluable and continue to shape our technology roadmap.”

As Heller Industries looks ahead, the company remains focused on advancing thermal process innovation, supporting emerging applications, and delivering solutions that enable customers to stay competitive in an increasingly complex manufacturing landscape.
“We’re grateful for the continued trust and enthusiasm from the industry,” the company concluded. “We look forward to another great year of collaboration, innovation, and shared success.”
