Heller Industries is looking for a Software QA and support engineer with experience in Semiconductor equipment software. The position is located in Florham Park, NJ, and reports to the SQA Manager.
Responsibilities
- Develop an in-depth expertise in Heller product operation and setup.
- Provide phone and on-site software support.
- Handle software installation and upgrade at customer sites.
- Support fab automation testing and qualification at customer sites.
- Work with customers, sales, field service, and engineering to compile software change requests to address customer needs.
- Compile and update software installation, setup, and operation procedures.
- Provide software training for customers and Heller Personnel.
- Participate in development and enhancement of software test plans.
- Test software and provide feedback to developers.
- Participate in scrum calls.
- Add test cases to the regression test suite for Heller’s products.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
- More than 5 years of experience developing, testing, or supporting software in semiconductor / electronics equipment, industrial automation, or process equipment.
- Experience working with Tier 1 semiconductor customers (e.g., Intel, TSMC, Samsung).
- Familiar with software development tools and utilities including development environments and bug tracking utilities.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience compiling and managing test plans for software releases.
- Experience managing software testing in remote sites.
- Experience with software engineering utilities including requirements management, bug tracking, and configuration management.
